Location. Located less than two miles from Downtown Disney and the Disney theme parks, the Caribe Royale Orlando (Fla.) is set on 45 lush acres. The hotel features complimentary Disney theme park shuttle service for all hotel guests.
Hotel Features. The hotel boasts five restaurants, from the elegant Venetian Room to the poolside snack bar, Calypso. Meetings are held in the resort's convention center, with 150,000 square feet of meeting space and a 40,000 square foot ballroom. Business support includes catering, a self service business center and wireless Internet access for a fee. The lobby displays a panoramic view of a cascading waterfall high above the pool. The 250,000 gallon pool is flanked by towering rocks and features a 75 foot serpentine waterslide and tropical playground. A dual level, 3,500 square foot fitness center includes more than 40 pieces of fitness equipment, a separate strength training area and a reception desk with sports drinks, snacks and chilled towel service. Two lighted tennis courts provide additional fitness venues. The hotel caters to younger guests with a children's pool, interactive water playground and a video game room.
Guestrooms. The Caribe Royale Orlando features one bedroom suites with refrigerators, coffeemakers, microwave ovens and cable television. Accommodations include ergonomically designed workspaces with wireless Internet access for a fee. Tower Three is reserved exclusively for adult guests traveling without children.
Expert Tip. At the hotel's Tropicale Restaurant, the food is supremely fresh. The Executive Chef and his staff explore local markets every day in search of the ripest produce and freshest fish.
